――「何ものでもない、ただのあなた」を描く似顔絵

 

今回のご依頼は、親友同士のお二人を描いたオーダーメイド絵画です。

ご相談の段階から、「関係性や役割を離れた姿を残したい」という想いがあり、

友達でもなく、親でもなく、恋人でもなく、

ただ“あなた”として存在する状態を描くことを目指しました。

本作品では、似顔絵で特徴になりやすい

髪型・髭・アクセサリーといった要素をあえて取り除き、

甲斐毛や髭のない、顔そのものだけを描いています。

装飾や記号を削ぎ落とすことで、

写真とは違うかたちで立ち上がる、その人自身の輪郭。

「似ているかどうか」ではなく、

存在を描くオーダーメイド絵画として制作しました。

 

シリーズとして続けていきたいオーダーメイド絵画

この「何ものでもない状態を描く似顔絵絵画」は、

今後もオーダーメイド絵画のシリーズ作品として展開していく予定です。

ご家族、友人、恋人といった関係性を超え、

一人ひとりの存在に静かに向き合う絵画。

This commissioned custom portrait painting was created for two best friends.

Rather than portraying them through labels or relationships — not as “friends,” not as family, not as partners — I wanted to paint them simply as themselves. Just being.

This artwork explores identity beyond roles.

In this minimal portrait painting, I intentionally removed defining features such as hairstyle, facial hair, and accessories. By excluding these elements, the focus shifts away from appearance and toward presence.

What remains is the face in its most neutral state — free from symbols, free from social identity.

This is not about resemblance alone.

It is about capturing essence.

Through this commissioned portrait artwork, I aim to reveal the quiet individuality that exists beneath roles and expectations.
