今回制作させていただいたのは、「ご結婚を迎えるおふたり」へ贈るオーダーメイドの結婚祝いアート。

ご依頼主は、おふたりと長年のご友人という女性。大切なご友人の門出に、世界にひとつだけの贈り物をしたいという思いから、当アトリエへご相談くださいました。

まずはご友人の方と丁寧にやりとりを重ねた後、新婦さまと直接お話する機会もいただき、おふたりの雰囲気・好きな色味・思い出の景色などをお聞きしました。

その中でも特に心を動かされたのが、九州の自然の中で撮影された結婚イメージムービー。

滝の前で寄り添うおふたりの姿、雨上がりに訪れた清々しい青空、やさしい風。

それはまるで、自然そのものがふたりの未来を祝福しているかのような風景でした。

この美しい記憶をヒントに、「祝福の青」「静けさ」「やわらかな光」をテーマに描きました。

新しい人生を歩むふたりに寄り添い、見るたびに初心を思い出せるような一枚となることを願っています。

A One-of-a-Kind Wedding Gift｜Custom Art Inspired by Nature and Friendship

 

This custom artwork was a special commission to celebrate a couple’s wedding—ordered by a close mutual friend who wished to give them something truly unique and heartfelt.

After carefully communicating with the friend, I was honored to speak directly with the bride. Through our conversations, I got a sense of their aesthetic preferences, favorite colors, and shared memories.

One of the most inspiring references was a wedding concept video filmed in the rich natural landscape of Kyushu, Japan.

In the video, the couple stood quietly in front of a waterfall, surrounded by the sound of wind and the light of a clear sky that came after days of rain. It felt as though nature itself was blessing their union.

From this imagery, I created a painting inspired by “blessed blue,” quiet joy, and gentle light.

I wanted to craft a piece that would accompany them on their journey and remind them of their beginnings whenever they saw it.
