今回のご依頼は、大切な方を偲ぶお供物としてのキャンドルホルダーのご注文でした。

贈られる相手は、車の整備士として活躍されていた故人様。

車を愛し、整備の仕事を誇りに思い、

ひとつひとつの工具を大切に扱っておられた方だと伺いました。

そんな故人様の姿を思い浮かべながら、

キャンドルホルダーには、思い出の工具たちを丁寧に描かせていただきました。

レンチやスパナ、愛用されていた手袋など、仕事の道具にはその人の人生がにじんでいます。

灯りをともすたびに、

整備場で過ごした静かな時間、車に向き合う真剣なまなざし、

そしてその方を想う温かい気持ちが、そっと浮かび上がるような作品になればと願いを込めました。

“A Candle Holder Honoring a Mechanic’s Life – Painted with His Beloved Tools”

 

Hello, this is Ico from Rassokuya.

 

This time, I had the honor of creating a hand-painted candle holder to serve as a memorial gift for someone very special—a professional car mechanic.

I was told that he had a deep love for cars,

and always treated his tools with great care and respect.

To honor his memory, I painted some of his favorite tools—wrenches, gloves, and the items he used daily—onto the candle holder.

Tools can speak volumes.

They carry years of dedication, memories, and the silent presence of someone who used them with pride.

Each time the candle is lit,

I hope it gently brings to mind the calm of the garage,

the careful attention given to every car,

and the warmth of remembering someone truly loved.
