「紫陽花のコーヒーカップに、想いをのせて。」

 

こんにちは、らっそくやのicoです。

 

今回は少し特別なご依頼をいただきました。

「故人が毎日欠かさず飲んでいたコーヒー。その代わりにお線香をあげたい」とのことで、コーヒーカップ型のお線香立てを作ってほしいというご相談でした。

蝋燭でも、キャンドルホルダーでもないけれど、

お客様の想いに少しでも寄り添えるなら――そう思ってお受けしました。

器は、小ぶりでやさしい印象のホワイトのコーヒーカップ。

そこに、**紫陽花**を描かせていただきました。

白い器に、紫陽花の瑞々しさがやさしく浮かび上がります。

お届け後、「まるで毎日コーヒーを淹れているように、お線香をあげています」とのお言葉をいただき、とても嬉しくなりました。

らっそくやでは、和ろうそくやキャンドル以外のものにも、可能な限り絵付けを承っています。

“A Cup of Coffee, A Touch of Memory – Hand-painted Incense Holder”

 

Hello, this is Ico from Rassokuya.

 

Today I’d love to share a special commission that touched my heart.

A customer asked for an incense holder shaped like a coffee cup, in memory of a loved one who enjoyed a fresh cup of coffee every single day.

It wasn’t a candle or a traditional candle holder,

but I truly believe that if my painting can offer comfort,

then it doesn’t need to fit a specific category.

We selected a petite, soft white ceramic cup and I painted hydrangeas.

The delicate blooms came to life against the clean white background.

Later, the customer kindly shared:

“Now, I offer incense in the same way I used to serve their coffee each morning.”

At Rassokuya, I often receive requests beyond wax candles—vases, cups, urns, boxes—and I always do my best to fulfill them.

If my brush can bring someone peace or connection,

then I’m happy to paint wherever it’s needed.
